Music Biography

Kimberly Roberts is a multi-faceted individual who has faced a vast array of personal and life-threatening trials and tribulations over the past couple of years since the release of her debut studio album titled, Chapter 3. These trials and tribulations have not only molded Kimberly into a stronger and more enlightened human being, but have provided artistic growth which she plans to incorporate into her sophomore album project. Kimberly is back in the studio writing and recording a follow-up to her well-received freshman album titled, Chapter 3.

Kimberly previously was offered and/or signed to a couple label and production deals which most recently included, 15 months she spent with Ark Music Factory prior to the “Rebecca Black” internet sensation. When Kimberly's contract term expired, she released music on her own label, Jasley Records. The LP encompassed multiple genres while staying true to her moral compass. The debut tracks which made the final cut were recorded in three recording studios with three primary producers in Memphis, TN; Sherman Oaks, CA; and San Dimas, CA.

Kimberly is a trained singer/songwriter, actress and is very excited to be embarking on her latest music project. Kimberly was not one of those people who woke up in their 20’s or 30's and decided that she wanted to be famous or part of ‘reality TV sensationalism’. In fact, reality TV as we know it today didn’t exist when she started out, and all her original recordings were recorded on cassette and/or VHS tape. She grew up in North Orange County, California and began her journey in the entertainment industry performing bible songs and dancing at age 3. Perseverance and faith have been guiding Kimberly every step of the way. Kimberly has performed with The Young Americans, various collegiate and non-profit music performance groups, churches, theme parks, dinner theatres, private events, and community theatres in Southern and Northern California, Western Tennessee, and Eastern Missouri.

Kimberly has also competed in solo artist, songwriting, and acting competitions in California, Tennessee, Colorado, Florida, and Mexico. Kimberly holds a Bachelors degree in Information Technology Management and Music Performance and California Professional Licenses in Real Estate, Life and Health Insurance. In 2008, she quit a flourishing career as a Senior Information Technology Auditor for a large Aerospace Company to pursue her lifelong passion for the performing arts full time. Unfortunately, the freshman album production process took longer than expected and Kimberly started a whole new profession in the insurance industry most recently servicing Seniors, while still allowing the flexibility for her to continue pursuing her dreams.

Kimberly’s ongoing pursuit of her musical aspirations are truly a labor of love and her songwriting and studio recordings encompass different stages of her journey to stardom. In 2009-2010, Kimberly released a single on a Christian compilation CD with proceeds going to the Nyambabare Clinic in Uganda to provide anti-malarial medications and mosquito nets to the surrounding community. In 2009, Kimberly served as a spokesperson for the Coachella Valley Latino International Film Festival sponsoring the Indio Performing Arts Center. In 2011, Kimberly served as an advisory board member and completed a fundraiser for the non-profit organization, American Spartan to raise funds for wounded combat veterans.

While promoting her debut album, Kimberly performed all over Southern California for multiple non-profits and community events which included: Desert Star Weekly Holiday Event at the Elvis Mansion, Desert Hot Springs Salsa Blast Salsa Festival, Idyllwild Arts Summer Chamber Performance, Palm Springs High School Valley Strings and Valley Strings Community Orchestra, Live Music and Arts Benefit at the Mountain View Vista Elementary School, Rose and Busters Wine Tasting Room, and Mission Lakes Country Club Dinner Theatre. Throughout 2013, Kimberly performed as a back-up singer in the Elton John Tribute Band, "Crocodile Rock". In 2012-2014 Kimberly performed with the community based Senior Chorale, "Rockin' Seniors" at the senior center and holiday tree lighting ceremonies. From 2011-2015 Kimberly performed and participated in the independent music festival, "Interfusion Music Summit". This past fall, Kimberly performed at the weekend EDM festival for the 5th time. In addition to writing and recording songs for her various studio albums, Kimberly has appeared in a couple of independent films and commercials, worked as an associate producer for a California Desert Cities based television advertising company, and served as a brand ambassador.
